About Forte®
Forte is a hard gel system for nail artists who want the speed and convenience of bottle application with the lasting performance of professional hard gel.
Inspired by advanced ceramic technology, Forte is designed to create thin, refined overlays and short extensions with rigidity, strength and durability—without unnecessary thickness. Its self-levelling formula supports quick, precise application.
Forte Base creates the flexible foundation between the natural nail and Forte Builder. Together, they form the base and structure of the Forte enhancement system.
Application
Step 1: Prepare the nail
Complete the standard nail preparation procedure. Gently push back the cuticles, shape the nails and lightly etch the nail plate with a 100/180 grit file. Cleanse thoroughly with Akzéntz® Prep & Wipe. If creating an extension, apply Pro-Tab Nail Forms.
Step 2: Apply Forte Base
Apply a thin layer of Forte Base; only a minimal amount is required. Avoid contact with surrounding skin. If desired, freeze cure each nail for 5 seconds during application to maintain control. Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Do not remove the inhibition layer.
Step 3: Apply Forte Builder
Apply a controlled, even layer of the chosen Forte Builder and refine the structure with the brush before curing. Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Remove the inhibition layer with a Gel Wipe moistened with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe. If using forms, remove them at this stage.
Step 4: Finish the enhancement
If no filing or adjustments are needed, remove the inhibition layer with Prep & Wipe to reveal a high-gloss shine. No additional top coat is required, though one may be applied if desired. If filing is needed, refine the shape and surface, remove dust with a Gel Wipe moistened with Prep & Wipe, then continue to the next step.
Step 5: Apply Forte Gloss, if desired
Apply a thin, even layer of Forte Gloss and cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Remove the inhibition layer with a Gel Wipe moistened with Prep & Wipe.
