The Forte Starter Kit brings together the system’s foundation, structure and finish: Forte Base, Forte Builder Clear and Forte Gloss. Apply the Base first, build the enhancement with Clear, then finish with Gloss when filing or adjustments are needed.
Application
Step 1: Prepare the nail
Complete the standard nail preparation procedure. Gently push back the cuticles, shape the nails and lightly etch the nail plate with a 100/180 grit file. Cleanse thoroughly with Akzéntz® Prep & Wipe. If creating an extension, apply Pro-Tab Nail Forms.
Step 2: Apply Forte Base
Apply a thin layer of Forte Base; only a minimal amount is required. Avoid contact with the surrounding skin. If desired, freeze cure each nail for 5 seconds during application to maintain control. Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Do not remove the inhibition layer.
Step 3: Apply Forte Builder Clear
Apply a controlled, even layer of Forte Builder Clear. Refine the structure with the brush before curing. Cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Remove the inhibition layer with a Gel Wipe moistened with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe. If using forms, remove them at this stage.
Step 4: Finish the enhancement
If no filing or adjustments are needed, remove the inhibition layer with Prep & Wipe to reveal a high-gloss shine; an additional top coat is optional. If filing is needed, refine the shape and surface, remove dust with a Gel Wipe moistened with Prep & Wipe, then continue to Step 5.
Step 5: Apply Forte Gloss, if desired
Apply a thin, even layer of Forte Gloss and cure for 30 seconds in an Akzéntz LED Light. Remove the inhibition layer with a Gel Wipe moistened with Akzéntz Prep & Wipe.
